Three goals conceded in a space of 15mins as TP lost their last home game on friday evening. Keith isnt looking fwd to next season. we hurried away to mudmurph. joined by don, mand and shera, the night turned out to be fun. way past closing time the grand finale was don's unrehearsed medley of Suede songs.

ive heard about Modern Dog from years ago. this round in thailand i went out to look for their stuff. just like discovering bahasa indo rock band Dewa, finding Modern Dog is just as exciting. adventurous, unpredictable, silky ideas around their great melodies, etc. here are 2 songs off their 1997 album, Cafe. titled Whatever and Profound, they are my repeat1 mode songs of the last few days.

the ruins in Ayuthya holds more than just ancient temples. this is off the wall of a temple there. the King pose elvis-like with a guitar.
2.30am leaving patpong. if rajesh is reading this, "hi there".
makan stall. the other one is top view from a hotel.

view from a bridge leaving for kanchanaburi. on the way there we stopped by at a tourist trap. even the tour guide told us not to buy there. then it rained a bit.

on the way out of hua hin we stopped for breakfast where a group of monkeys were scurrying around the food stall. the monkeying doesn't stop. further down the road this kid shows his talent.

whirlwind 1 week. this was found abandoned in kanchanaburi night market place. so tempted to title this after 'motorcycle emptiness' but i think Young's 'unknown legend' would be more apt.

Typewriter (Chang Kang & Paddy) testing out their repertoire.
Pat takes a back seat and stays in the shadow.
last night felt like Moods (96 to 98) all over. hosted by the fellas from Kinemat the music was standard indie pop fare. the tried and tested (rh, suede, etc etc) and with some nice surprises here and there. but its the familiar faces that makes it sweet. there was amos and his bro donovan. maryann, ai lin and adampunk. in particular george chua, whose eyes still sparkle. looking fwd to more.

Malaysia's national day last weekend had lots of rain which makes everything very pleasant.
I've been to No Black Tie before and really like the atmos. The other thing about it is this building next to it...
.. really something...
Unclogged X had its moments. Being packed out and in a small venue makes it nicer.
Some hop with joy at this weekend's festive celebrations.
Others plea for some common sense and human decency.
I gonna send Hishamuddin a copy of DK Returns. If he likes that, DK2 will follow.
Monday early hours 1am along Bt Bintang. This is the stretch where Mr Eddie of Venus Health Center ply his trade. His namecard has his address on M Floor, Jalan Hang Lekir, Hotel Malaya right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
