my blogger was down. i thought it was a hack and wrote to Support for help. About two weeks later they respond with a "sorry about the inconvenience. all is well now" etc. There was no explanation about what happened...OK. Thank you.
28th Aug, Observatory played a marvellous show at the Guinness Theatre. Beaming I set off to KL the next morning with Jeanne, Paul and Debby. For the next couple of days/nights, we ate, shopped, hang out and paaaartied. On the 31st night we hung out at No Black Tie for Joe Kidd's Unclogged Merdeka show. Freelove's "Where r u my indierock darling x 45 times" is etched somewhere forever in my consciousness. Esam played an enthalling solo set. Moods delivered an assured performance. Dino was there too. Caught up with Sulfian of Disco Biskit. I came back the next day with the feeling we need another 2 days of holiday to recover from this holiday.

thanx debby & paul who snapped the pics. I lost my camera at Bt Bintang. ALWAYS double check your belongings b4 u move off. ALWAYS.
5th Sept at the Substation Garden... I am familiar with Typewriter, Electric Co and Steel City Skies and liked their music a lot. So I brought my MD and a mini mic to bootleg the show. The opening band was Tiramisu that ive heard about- epecially from Paul who raves about them. When they launched into their opening song, i was stunned and was beaming away. Was glad I brought an extra disc and quickly fumbled to get the mic set up and all. ALWAYS and i say it again..... ALWAYS bring an extra disc.
Tiramisu's "Take Over The World" and "Dewa" are current repeat mode1 songs. To understand why, u can hear them this 27th at La Salle together with Astreal, Bayu, bigred.moment, The Chickadees, Moods, Samanta, Serenaide, Sourgrapes and Twilight. its from 4 to 10pm. tickets at $5 ($4 for early birds)
