It always hit me when a major project is over. BOOM... flu, fever, nasty micro thingies. Wish nanotechnology is more advance, I can build a micro personalised me and head inside my own body to strangle every single one of those bastards. Hate it cos it sets my timetable back- my workroom would have been up and running by today. Also I don't know how I got thru last Friday's Beat. I'm sick of falling sick.
Lilac Saints reformed recently. Caught them last Sunday and it was damn nice to hear those songs again. Especially this amazing tune. Localbarboy will be covering this at our next gig this coming Friday at Cafe Cosmo.
At the same show, the Marilyns were relaxed. and were comfortable switching between English and Bahasa numbers. I always love it when someone takes pride in their own language, writes and performs it. This country makes us embarrassed about our own background and pays lip service. Here are two outstanding tracks from the Marilyns.

Can't agree more on the last point.
There is something terribly wrong with some race identity disorder folks, proud to be angmoh-rish and ashamed of their mother tongues, heritage, even interests thats considered Cheena..you get the drift. We are all (well most of us) 'were' from China! Gosh..they look like complete jokes acting out the superiority.
