Two Dollar Shoes

Despite being ill, Nick and Gin soldiered on and played good sets for Muon and Astreal repectively at 3some, Bangkok last month. There were loads of Singaporeans and Malaysians at the club. It almost felt like a Sing-Msia summit with local Thais chairing the evening. Apt venue 3some.
The next night at the Met, Futon did a PA. Being a fan I went up to David and said one of the most uncool things ever. Zaidi was guest DJ and spinned a damn good set. Again there were tonnes of Singaporeans there. Rubiklap man... Bangkok 100Rock was my first rock festival and I like the buzz. Eugene, Cal, Paul, Clifton and I ended up at Sukhumvit Sol4 slurping up Thai steamboat- soup was super ace.
Shopping with Nat and Pearlyn at Suanlum Nite Mkt was a mini adventure. Paul and Cal missed their flight so they rendevouz with us at Patpong for eats, drinks and doing the tourist thing. The two ladies did more mad shopping the following night. We ordered too much and over-ate. Pearlyn can really EAT and Nat love eggs.
I came back SG on 28feb and went back BKK a week later to fix some issues with the audio for Love Story. Morning of the flight I fell sick. On the flight the shoes started falling apart. Not good omens. Rest of the stay I didn't drink a single drop holed up in the room drinking loads of warm water and trying desperately not to subcumb further to flu. I love Thai TV ads.
